I'm a Christian a Mother, Wife, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and your Friend. My Husband and I are now empty nesters, share a blended family of 4 kids and 8 grandkids. We also parent a small 10 lb. mutt we rescued almost 3 years ago. She's a joy and known as Ms. Personality Plus by some. We also are proud parents of thee Aquatic RES (Turtles.)They actually give us pleasure...Don't ask! Recently, our Doberman of 15 years 6 weeks and three days passed away on January 21, 2010. He was the best dog/friend/child ever! His goal in life was to please us and he did! RIP boy. Blogging is new to me and I hope to share bits and pieces of my life here, mostly for my kids and grandkids. But, I hope you enjoy it as well. My life may not be exciting but I'm happy!

Lost a Loved One :o(

Well, I'm not even going to make this close to perfect... It's been awhile since I posted a BLOG...not that I haven't written any, but they are in the "save for editing" option...somewhere. I think that place is called Blog Heaven ;o)

Lots’ have been happening around Casa De Wheeler's place lately. However, there has been one gigantic emotional hurdle I've been dealing with...Our 15 year 6 week 3 day old King Doberman Pinscher decided it was time to cross that Rainbow Bridge last week, Jan 21, 2010. I can’t express the sadness and emptiness I’m feeling within. He was such a good boy, filled with unconditional love not to mention brains! I spent hours last week putting together a blog page to honor him, but it just wasn’t meant to be published at that point in time. I’ll redo it and post it someday.

We’re going to be having company over the next 10 days which has been a blessing. It’s been a perfect distraction! I love having company and want their surrounding to be as comfortable as possible, so I’ve been trying to get things in order for our visitors. This certainly has distracted me from the pitfalls of depression.

I thank God we have our little doggie, but even she is depressed, acting strangely, walking around with her tail lowered. I’m sure in time she will also bask in the time her and Jackson spent together.

Jackson my Boy, that Rainbow Bridge got your attention, and now you’re gone…BUT, never forgotten, you will always be in our heart! RIP Big Boy!

Love You!
Mommy and Daddy
